March 8, 2022. Gustavo Solmott, a dear friend and art curator from Colombia, texted me asking if I was interested in having my art displayed in an art gallery in Italy, I replied “let’s do it”. We needed to work fast in order to get the art ready, Norma Vásquez, also from Colombia, was based in Italy and help us through the whole curation process, I’m thankful for the help and support.

When I started my journey as a collage artist in 2020, just right before the pandemic, I dreamed about having my art exhibited in an art gallery, of course, it was just a silly dream, just two years later and after a tough but meaningful process, my art finally made it to the Boccanera Gallery in Trento, Italy. When I saw the pictures of the gallery during the launch, I almost cried, it was my first exhibition in Europe, a dream came true.

I created three works for this exhibition.

1. “Cassini”
2. “Mimas”
3. “Supernova”
